Neeb, Heinrich
1807-1878
Born at Lich, Hesse, in 1807. He was a dramatic comooser, teacher and conductor of singing societies at Frankfort, among them Germania, Neeb's Quartet, Neeb's Mannerchor, and Teutonia, which is still in existence. His compositions comprise three operas; several popular ballads; a cantata; songs; and string quartets.
