Zwintscher, Bruno

1838-

Zwintscher was born at Ziegenhain, Saxony. He studied with Julius Otto at Dresden, then in 1856 entered the Leipsic Conservatory, where he studied under such eminent musicians as Plaidy, Mpscheles, Richter, Hauptmann and Rietz. In 1875 he was appointed teacher of technical studies in the same Conservatory. He has published in English a continuation of Plaidy's Technical Studies.
