Szumowska, Antoinette

1868-

Concert pianist; born at Lublin, in Poland. After studying piano with Michalowski and Strobel at Warsaw she went to Paris, where she became the pupil of Paderewski. She has appeared successfully in concert in Paris and London, New York and Boston, in which latter city she lives, the wife of Timothee Adamowski, the well-known quartet player.
