Neidlinger, William Harold

1863-

 

American composer; born in Brooklyn. He studied under Dudley Buck and Müller. He spent some time in Paris teaching, after which he taught in Chicago. His great work is as a composer and he has built up songform both in its instrumental and vocal application. His works include a mass and other church-music; mixed and male choruses; many delightful songs which are very popular; and many valuable books of music for children.
