Clark, Rev. Frederick Scotson


Born in London and received his earliest musical education from his mother, who had been a pupil of Chopin. He studied piano and harmony under Sargant, the organist at Notre Dame, in Paris, was the founder of the London Organ School and, in 1878 was the representative English organist at the Paris Exposition. He composed numerous pieces for the organ, many sacred songs and is the author as well of many works for the piano. He works have always enjoyed a wide popularity.
