A German dramatic soprano. She was born at Gratz, the daughter of a singer, from whom she received her early training. In 1842 she made her debut at Olmütz, appeared later in Prague and Lemberg, in 1850 sang in Vienna, and in 1853 in Dresden. She visited London the season of 1855 and 1856, and was heard in Berlin and Hanover and other cities of Germany. She was married, in 1855, to E. Bürde, an actor, and retired from the stage in 1867.
